Lisa Hannah elected Chair of CD3, Brian Osborn is Associate Chair

	The Nebraska Democratic Party has just concluded its 2008 State Convention in Fremont this weekend. There are a lot of new delegates, alternates, committee members and officers. The leadership of the 3rd CD has changed hands with the elections of Grand Island resident, Lisa Hannah and Holdrege resident, Brian T. Osborn as Chair and Associate Chair respectively. Hannah and Osborn replace Jay Stoddard and Ramona Carrol-Kufalk at the helm of the 3rd Congressional District. They will represent the 3rd CD on the NDP State Executive Committee and will also exercise votes on the NDP State Central Committee. As the Chairs of the 3rd CD, Hannah and Osborn will also guide the 3rd Congressional District Organization. Both Hannah and Osborn share the goal of growing the 3rd Congressional District and getting more Democrats elected at every level within the state. Lisa is known for holding Rep. Adrian Smith's feet to the fire with her blog, "Smith Watch - Nebraska's 3rd District." Brian has served as Secretary of the 3rd CDO, as a delegate to the NDP State Central Committee, and was recently re-elected as the Chair of the Phelps County Democrats.
